Hi, I’m Chris

I work with adults and couples navigating trauma, anxiety, OCD, relationship challenges, betrayal, and patterns that can be difficult to change on your own.

My Christian faith is an important part of who I am and naturally informs the way I understand people, relationships, healing, and hope. My counseling is grounded in professional, evidence-based care, with space to incorporate faith as part of the therapeutic process when it is meaningful to you.

Outside of the counseling office, I’ve been married for many years and am a mom to two young adults. I spent 11 years homeschooling my children and have also enjoyed serving in women’s and prayer ministries. I love to read and, when Arizona temperatures cooperate, spend time outdoors.

Education & Training

I am a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and a Bachelor of Social Work from Arizona State University.

I have completed EMDR basic training and am pursuing EMDR certification. My additional training includes Internal Family Systems (IFS), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD, attachment-based approaches, and couples counseling.

I practice under the clinical supervision of Perry Emerick, LPC, and am an affiliate of Christian Counseling Services.
